  • Feedback Session on Welcoming Goals and Actions for our Five-Year Strategic Plan:  Thursday March 11, 2010 at 7 PM in Room 3.  All are welcome! -Bryan Jessup, 322-6146
  • 75 Alive! will meet March 9 (second Tuesday) from 10 a.m. till noon in Room 7. This month’s leader, Sam Zutler, will introduce Ed Johnson, speaking on “The Range of Care in Nursing Homes.”  Members 75 or older are welcome. For information call Shirley Valett, 499-9067 or Jo Fox, 438-4226.
  • 2nd Sunday SJ Collection   Beyond the Block exposes high school students living in poverty to cultural activities in Fresno to help connect them to their larger community. The Emancipation Program works with failing students in foster care to develop applicable daily living skills as they become emancipated from that system. Valerie Johnson 438-4426

  • Cleanup Workday this coming Saturday, March 13 starting at 8:30 am, to spruce up the buildings for the upcoming solar dedication.  We will clean the sidewalks and parking areas, and get dust and cobwebs out of the sanctuary and foyer.  There will be a landscape workday on March 20.   • Men’s Group Potluck and Meeting Friday, March 19th from 6:30 to 9:00pm, will be hosted by Don Goodson (288-3951) and Don Gaede (434-5138) at La Querencia Co-Housing next to UUCF.  RSVP so that Don ‘n Don can plan the main dish.  They will be sending e-mails with the food assignments later.

  • BOOK SHOP Our thanks to Bette Peterson who had a book signing at the Book Shop on Sunday, Feb. 14th with the author of "Cooking with Booze".  50% of the profit of the sale of the books was designated to "Doctors without Borders" for Haitian relief.
